I know I asked for something special/unique for my espresso machine--and it is incredible in that role--but I also put it through my cone and filter for a drip brew, and the results were nothing short of magic. 2009 - The BEST Coffee we've ever had..
"I would like you to know that we tried both the Dark City Espresso and the Extra Butter coffees this weekend. My husband and I agree that it is truly the best coffee we have ever tasted both here at home and in retail establishments. The espresso produces a beautiful thick crema, with plenty of chocolate and fruitiness on the palate. I tried the Extra Butter and a 50/50 blend of it and the espresso in lattes. We were delighted with both. The Extra Butter on its own in the latte was everything you promised.
My only concern now David, is over-consumption, because the coffee is so fine. I know what I'll be taking to friends as hostess gifts in the future.
I read your storage instructions and have vacuum-packed the beans in smaller quantities and stored them in the freezer.
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to drinking only the best coffee from now on thanks to Dark City."
