Cherry Bomb

Cherry Bomb
The aromatics of this blend will fill your nose with hibiscus, milk chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut and maple. It is lightly bodied with a sweet caramel taste and excellent acidity. It’s the perfect morning coffee brewed any way or as an alternative to our espresso blend.

Mörkstad

Mörkstad
This blend was created for a Swedish bicycle company to taste like traditional Swedish coffee. It makes a great alternative to our Espresso blend. The fragrance is of fruit and flowers. Initially, one will taste a fruity, winey note, followed by a subtle spiciness, then finish with a hint of chocolate. Morkstad (Dark City in Swedish) has a similar medium body to our Espresso blend, but a more piquant acidity.

Dark City Espresso

Espresso
We have roasted this blend medium light, which is traditional Italian style. Since espresso is so concentrated, the lighter roast allows you to taste the pure essence of the coffee, rather than the overwhelming flavour of the roast. Contrary to popular belief, espresso is neither a blend nor a dark roast; it is purely a method of preparing coffee. We have added a small percentage of Robusta beans to our blend which in turn increases caffeine levels, improves crema, adds body and imparts a malty taste, for that authentic Italian flavour. It has a light acidity, excellent body and tastes of honey, chocolate, pralines, tangerine, and cinnamon.

Music for my Mother

Music for my Mother
This blend has unusual depth and complexity, which is revealed immediately in the aroma of jasmine, orange, almond, pepper, wood and leather. The body is heavy with a musty twist and is balanced by an apricot and red wine acidity. It finishes with a lingering maple syrup note.

Indigo Blue

Indigo Blue
This blend has little to no acidity and a body so heavy that it rolls over your tongue. The sweet spicy aroma of cinnamon and cardamom are offset with smoky, woody and heavy musty notes.

Mocha Java

Mocha Java
This is the earliest known blend ever created and remains a classic. We use authentic Yemen Mocha Matari and Estate Java to yield a cup with deep, syrupy body and complex aromatics. The heavy body of the Java plays off the dry winey acidity of the Yemen Mocha and both combine their distinctive chocolate notes for a double fudge experience.

Zen

Zen
Smooth and heavy body first come to mind when describing this blend. A deep earthy slightly smoky aroma is inhaled before tasting butter, sweet spice, and rich earth. The delicate acidity is barely noticeable through syrupy heavy body.

Mitzi’ s Café

Mitzi’ s Café
This blend was created for the café located at 100 Sorauren Avenue, Toronto. There are two different roasts contained in the blend, one medium light and one very dark. This combination adds complexity to the roast taste and you will still be able to detect the vibrant acidity through the roast. Look for hints of hazelnut, earth and nutmeg on your palate, bound in a rich medium body.

Millionaires

Millionaires
If you’re the kind who always ends up choosing the most expensive option but doesn’t want to pay the expensive price, this one’s for you. Since this is French roasted, the predominant flavour will be the roast. A medium bodied blend with a fine winey acidity and buttered caramel note that just shows through the roast.

Extra Butter

Extra Butter
This is a sinfully rich tasting coffee, and not surprisingly, our most popular blend. The aroma is malty with slightly fruity and floral notes. The body is substantial and it has a deep smoky taste balanced by luxurious creamy buttermilk. The aftertaste is long and of bittersweet chocolate.

I.V. Drip

I.V. Drip
If you’re a slow morning riser and desperately need a kick-start, may we prescribe this. It’s a French roasted blend with a very distinctive taste due to the Indian Monsooned Malabar, making up half of the blend. The aroma is complex and spicy with very little acidity followed by unusual cedar and musty overtones.

Cosmopolitan

Cosmopolitan
Slick, sophisticated and gutsy, this is the Cosmpolitan. It’s one of our heavier bodied French roasted blends; it has a subtle acidity with a little bit of earthiness along with a slight sweetness of caramel and butter.
